Do you need to Get Busy Living?

Last Updated on: August 28th, 2019

In May, I happened to take a step that has turned my life around. Actually, I have taken several steps this year (2013), which have improved the quality of my life. I’ve learned a lot this year, thanks to Danny Iny, and I have accomplished a lot, too, especially in the last few months. I have to thank my son, a few friends, and myself, for most of them. Now, I also have to thank Benny Hsu (pronounced “shoe”, not “sue”). 🙂

This is...guess who? Yup, it's Benny Hsu!

This is…guess who? Yup, it’s Benny Hsu!

Benny Hsu is a blogger who has made some really terrific discoveries. He also created a course that helped me!

I found Benny’s site, Get Busy Living, from clicking on the post “The Class I Wish I Had In School” one day when I was on Glynis Jolly’s old blog (which has disappeared for reasons unknown, perhaps because she has a newer blog). Anyway, I clicked around and absolutely fell in love with his blog. I even ended up taking his course, and it was awesome! I get to keep it, too, since it is all digital and I can refer to it in the future should I ever feel the need to do so. 😉

I have to tell you, I loved Benny’s course! He taught me a few great strategies to employ in my daily life that have helped me focus on what’s really important to me. What’s more is that I’m using them and they’re helping me! I have already seen some pretty amazing results; I’m writing more than ever! I’m grateful for following my gut instincts and taking this course.

Benny was also actively involved throughout the course, which I thought was fantastic.

He really cares, and showed it, constantly. I’d recommend this course to anyone who is feeling like they need a little push to get motivated towards reaching his/her goals.

Do you need to Get Busy Living?

If you are having difficulties concentrating on your goals, then Benny’s course might be right for you.

You can check it out right here. (No, this is not an affiliate link – WordPress. com blogs are prohibited from having them!)

I honestly think you’ll thank yourself for taking this course. 😀 I know I did!

Lorraine- I like the new look of your blog. There is always a need for improvement in your life. I must say that I am very happy with the way things are and for me at this moment I would not change anything.

Thanks, Arleen! I am happy that your life is going well, too! It’s nice to hear, especially with all that you have gone through in your personal life!

Thanks for the mention! Again all the credit goes to you because you put in the time and effort and therefore got the results.

Benny, you make my blush; thank you for the compliment. Thanks for paying me another visit, too!

I know you have helped many people with this course, and I think that’s wonderful! You’ve certainly helped me! 🙂

I agree with you! Benny really helped me focus. I’d recommend this course again and again. Many of his blog posts are motivational, too, so if you don’t want to take a course, you can still check out his blog! 😉

  3. Hi Lorraine, we can all use help of some kind from time to time and I’m glad you were able to find it when you needed it. I stay motivated by reading (books, blogs or anything with words) and writing of course. It’s also important for me to stay active physically and to feel like I’m making a difference to someone. That might include my daughters, my grandkids, family, friends, those I work with or complete strangers and even the dogs and cats that I have rescued.

About your site, what do you like? That’s what matters, but since you asked, I prefer bright colors. To me reds, yellows,(my favorite) blues and even greens (my least favorite) promote health and happiness. Just my opinion and you did ask.

Thanks for your input, Donna Jean. I was torn between a black background and a red(ish) one. I tried both, but since you spoke up, I’ll switch it back.

Ever since my accident (which I will posting about in the future), I have a hard time getting motivated. It’s great to hear that you don’t! I love dogs and cats, and think that you are a saviour for rescuing the ones you have. We need more people like you in this world! Keep it up! 🙂

  4. A friend of mine at http://www.itsallinthemindset.com/ does the same kinda thing. She quit her job a while ago and decided to live life to it’s fullest and started coaching people with the same kinds of issues. My girlfriend actually did it with her for a while and it really helped. Personally I don’t need much motivation in my life, I am super busy with so many things blog, application, magic, broken leg :> But some people really do benefit a lot and I think it’s great

I think I may need a bit more motivation than some people as a result of the many health issues I face and deal with on a daily basis. It’s good to hear that you have things under control, too.

Tell me more about the “magic” you’re doing, Ashley!

    Nice new look!

It’s great to see you so motivated and ready to tackle the world!

    Keep on keepin’ on!

    • Lorraine Marie Reguly says

Thanks, Fearless Leader! You always provide me with encouragement and praise, and I love it! You’re awesome, Toby; I think your family is lucky to have such a nice guy in it! I’m glad that you like the new look of my blog, too. 🙂

I like the “clean” look of your blog. I find it easier to read due to the contrast in colors. I would keep it just the way it is. Right now, my life is the best it’s been in ages, but I have come through tough times. I find that prayer, yoga and a positive attitude gets me through most of my dellemas.

    • Lorraine Marie Reguly says

Thanks for your input. I like the cleaner look, too. I don’t know why I didn’t think of changing it before now.

I’m so happy that you’re doing so well. It sounds like you have your life under control, Jo Ann, which is great!
