You love true stories, and books, right?
I thought so. đ
That’s why I’m posting this today… to share a special memory with you.
I know. This isn’t a topic for this website any longer! But not too many people know about my author site… and so I’m posting this here so you’ll pop over to my other site to read this post.
I know you’ll love it! đ

I don’t have any memories of books I read or that were read to me as a child. I don’t think there was all that much reading being done in my home when I was young. So my memories of children’s books are memories of books I read to my children. Dr. Seuss was always one of my favorites and my favorite book is The Lorax. The other one I remember is not specifically a children’s book but my son and I spent about a month working our way through Great Expectations. I had never read it before and we were both enthralled.
Ken, I didn’t read Great Expectations, but I did see the movie and I can understand how it enthralled you!
Didn’t your teachers ever read a book to you in school? Mine did. I loved those days when the teacher would read a chapter or two of a book to the class. đ
